Lotus Traveler version 8.5.1 supports ID VAULT, so users don't need to upload their ID Files in WebAccess to read Crypted mails in Lotus Traveler.

Starting from 8.5.1 Nokia Devices support Remote Wipe also. I assume this need new FirmWare of Nokia phone. I am planning to patch my phone this week, so will update about this feature later.

If IBM uses OMA/DM for the Remote Wipe Feature (I think they do), the Remote Wipe should work at least on all phones of the E-Series, starting with the Nokia E51. I don't think you will need a firmware upgrade on those phones.

I am not sure about the early E-Series phones (E60, E61, E70, E50).

Hi Vlad,

I'm curious if you've been able to try Lotus Traveler on the Nokia E75 or will try the upcoming Nokia E72 (replacement for E71) when it ships late Q4 2009?? The reason why I ask is that both devices are S60 3.1 FP2 and have in the Nokia Messaging application/client Lotus Traveler 8.5.1 built-in. considering this is a new Firmware revision its possible that remote wipe would finally be supported. Possible.

Also have you looked into enabling the OTA Remote Lock feature of the Nokia E71 and tried to install Traveler on it thereafter, then executing remote wipe? What if the E71 was encrypted (built-in feature) then tried to remote wipe from Domino?

Sorry I'm just trying to through a few ideas out there to see if there may be something we all missed.

Please keep up the excellent work - when you find a solution I'll trailback my blog take to yours giving you full credit.
