    Lotus Traveler on Nokia Phones

    Next version of Lotus Traveler will also support, NOKIA phanes, which are more popular in Europe than Microsoft OS based phones,
    As far as I know, because of some technical issues NOKIA support was not included in first version of Traveler, but next version will include this.

    According to my info, Traveler for NOKIA phones, will be available in the end of December.

    Official Traveler home page is here

    If you have Domino 7.0.2 server, you can use Traveler as Well, just put one 8.0.2 server + Traveler which will act as a Proxy server.

    OR, if you wish you can use ULTRA MAIL fantastic solution to access Your mail and calendar from ANY mobile phone,
    All you need is a database on a server (regular NSF) and a phone with a browser, (Nokia, iPHone, iPodTouch, Samsung, Sony Ericsson or any other).
    ULTRA MAIL,

    The Ultra Mail post is closed for comment; so I do it here.

    I can login to the database and see the entry screen. But when I click on the button for mail, nothing happens.

    Regarding the system requirements for traveler server; 8.0.1+ isn't correct. I tested traveler and WM5 / WM6 a lot during the last weeks and had problems whith Domino versions > 8.0.1.

    Even IBM support suggested to run on Domino 8.0.1. It might start and run on versions 8.0.2 and 8.5 Beta 2 as well ( no error messages on startup ) but there are problems when the device initially syncs or when it syncs on new mail.

    After downgrading to 8.0.1 everything works fine.

    Hi Vlad,

    I'm looking forward to see support for Nokia devices with Lotus Traveler, but there isn't any mention at Lotus Traveler 8.5 documentation about Nokia devices --> { Link }

    Well, concerning NOKIA and Lotus Traveler, I have some info from IBMeres, so they have such info. :)

    Concerning 8.0.1 and 8.0.2 there are number of patches that should be applied to Traveler, first build was not so stable.

    Concerning Ultra Mail, have you signed a design?

    There is a Error handling in database, so you should see some ERRORs on console, if something is wrong.
