    Is SURunAs supported with Windows Vista and Windows 7? answer is NO :(

    Stange it is not supported, Vista is a total crap, but still it has been for several years in the market.
    Windows 7 now is used by many organizations, and RUNAS cannot be used.

    I have my own tool, which I use in migrations, it allows to FORCE upgrade after Nth attempt and also works in big environments,
    In SmartUpgrade user can always click "NO" and you cant force users to be upgraded in 1 month or so.

    User migrations is a longest part, as well as Testing part...   sad we have now problems with RunAs...
    Please remember, about security of smart Upgrade and SRunAs. :(

    Answer

    No. API functions used by SURunAs to run Notes installers as a different user have changed in Windows Vista and Windows 7. SPR# SHEZ844D2K has been submitted to Quality Engineering to request support for SURunAs on these operating systems.
