Lotus Traveler:: WIPING Device remotely:: Not all Devices support this feature

When I tested Nokia Traveler 8.5 Beta 2, I used my old Nokia N80.
I tested different things, including REMOTE WIPE.

How does this REMOTE WIPE works? Does it works on all deviced?  The answer is no.

Under LotusScript button, Wipe Device there is a script which checks, wipeSupported field.




I found that HTC Touch and Samsung devices support this.
may be this is somehow enabled on device itself.

I was wondered that even such advanced devices like Nokia E71, which I plan to buy, has this field equal to 0. :(
I plan to switch my Blackberry Curve 8310 to Nokia E71.
